Inflatable Boats 4 Less owners
The Newly redesigned Sea Eagle PaddleSki 435ps Catamaran Inflatable Kayak now features a newer cleaner, more open design that reduces the weight, provides better access to space and allows it to pack up in a smaller package. This is because Sea Eagle replaced heavier parts with lighter weight parts. This dramatically reduces the weight of the Sea Eagle PaddleSki without compromising the strength or durability of this great kayak. The Sea Eagle 435ps is a true open water kayak...on lakes, rivers, ponds, seas, and oceans!
The Sea Eagle PaddleSki 435ps comes in a nylon carry bag for easy transport and takes just minutes to inflate and assemble. It can take a multitude of accessories for paddling, rowing, sailing, fishing or motoring! The Sea Eagle PaddleSki's can be used in mild whitewater (class 1 & 2) but they are not recommended for moderate of heavy white water. It is no exaggeration to say that these are the most versatile kayak ever designed!

Tim,
"We bought our Paddle Ski last year; had it out today on a local lake infested with ski boats and jet skis; no wind, but lots of boat wakes. I've bounced around in an aluminum boat for lots of years when there were boat wakes. We obviously didn't paddle into the wakes at 25 miles an hour, but I was pleasantly surprised the Paddle Ski was barely affected, regardless of whether the wake hit the bow or a side. Just a bit of rocking.
I had a canvas-covered kayak some years ago; every time I encountered a tree branch I was bailing water and patching the boat. I encountered several branches today, as well as some rocks. The Paddle Ski didn't have a scratch.
I'm 6'2" tall and weigh about 255 pounds. I tested the Paddle Ski's stability by leaning as far as I could to starboard and then to port. My wife, in the front seat, didn't even notice. I don't know how you'd tip this thing over.
Anyway, good job on the recommendations. The Paddle Ski is a great boat to have. "

Sea Eagle PaddleSki catamarans are unique to Sea Eagle. Developed by Sea Eagle president Cecil Hogue the unique Sea Eagle PaddlSki catamaran kayak was designed to combine the speed and stability of the Hobie Cats that he sailed on Long Island Sound with Sea Eagle’s legendary Explorer kayaks. The result is Sea Eagle’s fastest, safest, driest, and most stable kayak. You can actually stand on the PaddleSki. I’ve been unable to tip one even after years of sailing them (sail kits are available), or paddling them including class 4 whitewater, or rowing them (rowing kit available), or even fishing from them with the available side motor mount for an electric trolling motor or a center-mount for a small outboard. I don’t recommend the PaddleSki for the whitewater above class 2, however. If you’re primarily a whitewater fanatic, stick with the Class IV capable Sea Eagle Explorer kayaks but if your interests are flat water paddling on lakes, rivers, and oceans, mixed with a few class 2 whites the PaddleSki is still your best choice.
Each year our Sea Eagle PaddleSki 435 sales, as a percentage of our total PaddleSki sales, continue to increase as more and more customers realize that the PaddleSki is much more that just a kayak and plan on motoring, or sailing, or rowing and choose the PaddleSki 435 for this reason.
We now recommend the Sea Eagle PaddleSki 435 with the Deluxe option group as Tim's Best In Class. We now carry the Sea Eagle 435 Deluxe for personal use while traveling.
Long before we were Sea Eagle dealers we were PaddleSki owners and continue to be the Sea Eagle PaddleSki's biggest fan!
The Sea Eagle 435 Paddle Ski is Sea Eagle’s safest, most stable, driest, fastest, most maneuverable, most versatile kayak! I’ve had
a love affair with the435 Paddle Ski from the moment I opened the box on my new 435 Paddle Ski in 1998. I followed the well-written directions and soon had inflated the 14 foot two person kayak that was almost as rigid as my 16’ aluminum canoe. The first time on the water I was amazed at the stability. My wife walked...actually walked across the catamaran hull to her position in front! On the water the 435 Paddle Ski was fast…surprisingly fast. We were hooked! Later we popped the 2 Halkey Roberts valves, waited two minutes, rolled the 435 Paddle Ski like a sleeping bag and soon had the nifty catamaran kayak back in the carry bag it arrived in. Yes…it really does fit back in the bag.
I often paddle my Sea Eagle 435 catamaran kayak in the morning when the waters are glassy smooth and then later sail my Sea Eagle 435 Paddle Ski in the gusty afternoon winds.

Here's what John thought of the Sea Eagle 435...
Tim
"I just wanted to let you know that I received the PaddleSki 435 as scheduled and had the opportunity to use it this weekend. I am very happy with it, especially the way it really moves well in the water and at the same time is extremely stable in both smooth and choppy conditions. I was also very impressed with how easily the boat was to set up and put away, and how light it was to carry given its size and capacity.
My girlfriend and I spent the day fishing from the boat on one of the local lakes and both of us were very pleased with the fact that the boat was far far more stable than we imagined it would be and had more than enough room to easily hold all of our equipment with tons of room to spare, which will be great when we take it on an extended camping trip later this summer.
The boat also drew a lot of attention at the lake, especially from a number of kayakers, because of its unique design. I recommended to several people that they look at your website to learn more about the boat and the accessories available for it. I also told them that I got a great deal with you and would recommend purchasing from you, if they decided to get an inflatable boat or kayak, because of the excellent price and service you’ve provided me.
My friend is still thinking about which type of boat would best fit his needs, and hopefully will make a decision within the next couple of weeks. He says his only problem with Sea Eagle is that there are too many different styles to choose from (which is certainly a good problem to have for anyone shopping for a boat!), so now he’s not sure exactly what he wants.
Thanks again for the everything!"
John
Thanks John...now let's hear from Alan who just received his Sea Eagle PaddleSki 435ps
Tim/Crystal,
Those of you that have spent a lot of time wandering around our website are bound to notice that the Sea Eagle PaddleSki is our favorite kayak. This will be very obvious in our email Q&A with Moriah
Q.
Hi I've been researching inflatable kayaks and would like to purchase one that can handle a 5'1", 130lb adult, a 5'11", 167lb adult and 10lb dog. I will be using the kayak on small lakes and calm rivers; no white water. I will probably also end up doing some camping from the boat, but we are also backpackers and our gear is lightweight. I will be using the boat solo (with my dog) on a number of occasions. Originally I was going to purchase a 370 but as I continued to do my research I started looking at the SE 380x. I was pretty much set on the 380x until I read that a longer boat will track better in flat water, so now I\'m wondering if I should spend the extra money on the 420x? Would it track better than the 380x? Would it be harder to handle solo? Will wind affect the 420x differently than the 380x? Neither of us are experienced paddlers - I've been out a few times over the years and my partner has never paddled, but we are quick learners! Any help you could provide will be greatly appreciated. On another note, out of all the sites selling Sea Eagles, yours is the most user friendly, especially for those of us who don't really have any experience with kayaks and inflatables. Thank you! Moriah
A.
Moriah,
Thanks for your questions and compliments. You’re wise to consider one of our premium kayaks, however my advice on the premium kayak I recommend for you may be a surprise. Read on.
We are constantly getting question’s asking for advice about which kayak to buy. In fact your question is the most asked question in our 13 years of selling Sea Eagle boats and kayaks. Yours was the third today All questions are much the same with the only difference being the heights, weights, and names of the paddlers and the name of the lake, river, or ocean they intend to paddle. Most are beginning kayakers. Our answer is always the same. Has been for the last13 years! Our very best kayak and your best choice is the Sea Eagle PaddleSki 435 Deluxe. But before I go on, let me go back almost 13 years.
In 1998 I was a recent heart bypass patient at just 55 years of age and I was looking for a kayak to use for stress relief and exercise. My friends always came to me for advice because of my reputation for always over-researching everything and so the search for the very best kayak for 'hard to please Tim' and 'inexperienced & doesn’t like the water Crystal’, was right up my alley. Finding the perfect kayak should be a piece of cake, or so I thought. Searching and researching the perfect kayak consumed me for over a year. Eventually I settled on Sea Eagle as the source and the Sea Eagle PaddleSki as the kayak. When it arrived I was amazed at the quality….I was expecting a pool toy and instead I found a tough as a boot kayak the I whipped into shape in just a few minutes. As an experienced paddler I was hard to please but the PaddleSki pleased me in every way. It was fast and stable and better than any hard kayak I had ever paddled. Best of all the remarkable stability allowed my "scared of the water non athletic" wife to learn to love kayaking and be a part of my paddling hobby for the first time! Within the next three years I was to become a Sea Eagle Dealer and over the following ten years we were to become Sea Eagle’s largest dealer. All because of that PaddleSki. In all the intervening years with all of new kayak products coming to market my faith in Sea Eagle has never wavered and my kayak of choice still remains the PaddleSki.
Why? Because the PaddleSki is our most stable and safest kayak. The PaddleSki is also the easiest to paddle and the easiest to enter and to exit. In particular, the forgiving PaddleSki is the perfect choice for beginning kayakers. There’s more! The PaddleSki is also the most versatile allowing you to paddle, or row, or sail , or fish, or motor. The PaddleSki does everything you are looking for and more.
1:You can add a motor mount and either a trolling motor(our personal favorite) or a small gas engine. This is great if you are paddling and fishing in larger lakes.
2:We love the longer length on the water – better glide ratio
3:Extremely easy to enter and exit the boat from shore or fishing docks as compared to any of our traditional sit in kayaks.
4:More room for gear
5:Sitting on top of the boat instead of down in the boat allows for more freedom of movement….Crystal appreciates being able to move freely while in the boat adjusting her hips and legs so they don’t get stiff. Crystal loves sitting facing me….reading while I paddle or motor.
6:Very Stable….both of us can sit on the same side on the same pontoon – with our feet in the water while fishing.
7:Also sitting on top gives you better site fishing….or seeing the wildlife
8:You can also add a Swivel Seat which is great for fishing.
9. An easy boat to solo yet long enough for three.
OK Tim…but I asked about the Sea Eagle 370 Pro?
For those that ask, the Sea Eagle Pro kayak is a good buy. Maybe a great buy. We have hundreds of customers who really brag about their 370’s. But not all. Some wished their 370 would track better. Others have higher expectations than a $300 kayak could possibly deliver. Those that are happy with their 370’s just don’t know how good kayaking really could be! Better tracking and easier paddling and increased safety to start. But the stability difference is amazing. For those with high expectation levels most will admit the PaddleSki exceeded even their expectations! Anyway that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. It’s time for Crystal and I to grab our paddles and a bottle of wine and head out to Watson Lake for a twilight PaddleSki paddle.
Nice talking to you...Tim

"Can you tellTerry is having a good time?"
"We spent about three hours at the springs, seeing everything from huge old cows with scars across their backs from boat propellers, to babies nursing from their mothers. One of the volunteers said this baby is an orphan, and they’re watching it. Sometimes one of the cows will adopt an orphan and allow it to nurse. If that doesn’t happen, authorities will remove it to a refuge where it will be cared for until it can go out on its own".
