Tipping the scales at just 97 lbs. fully rigged, the SailCat is easy to transport packed in its bags or even fully rigged. Its trim weight and twin catamaran hulls make it sit high in the water which reduces drag, making it a nimble and responsive sailing craft that’s simple and fun to pilot.

But don’t let the low weight fool you; this is one rugged little sailboat. You can SAIL ANYWHERE with confidence in the SailCat — rivers, ponds, lakes, even in the ocean. The hulls are made of 1,000 denier “crocodile hide” material, the same as we use in our high-performance Sport Runabouts. The mast and all hardware are made of nautical-grade, anodized aluminum — a highly specialized alloy that combines light weight, tremendous strength, and high resistance to corrosion even from salt water.

Maintenance Free — spend your time SAILING, not scrubbing

A light hosing at the end of the sailing season is about all the maintenance your SailCat will ever need. And unlike fiberglass hulls that grow dull over time and require regular scrubbing and touchups, the SailCat’s inflatable hulls keep their like-new good looks for years and years…effortlessly.
